image004The generous curves of Horological Machine No.9 take their cues from some of the most beautiful automobiles and aircrafts of the 40's and 50's - considered as a golden era of design for many

Introducing the HM9 'Flow' Red Gold - Originally presented in two titanium editions of 33 pieces, this new variation also comes in two limited editions –‘Air’ and ‘Road’– of only 18 pieces each, crafted from precious 18k 5N+ red gold. The differences between the two versions lie in their dials (aviation instrument style or classic speedometer), the finishing of their movements (darkened or rhodium plated) and their dual balance wheels (rhodium-plated or red gold).

Dual balance wheels? Yes, the HM9 movement is one of very few dual regulator calibres, featuring not just one but two fully independent balance wheels, each beating at its own rate. A complex planetary differential visible through the central sapphire crystal constantly calculates the average rate of those two mechanical heartbeats.

Retail price of the HM9 Red Gold is CHF 188,000 + VAT (USD 198,000 / EUR 174,000 before taxes)
