One of New York’s most iconic hotels, The Lowell, is set to open a new restaurant, bar and library lounge, as part of its grand re-design which will be unveiled in Autumn 2016.
Nestled between the most exclusive properties located on the Upper East Side, the landmark hotel can be found on East 63rd Street. Just a stone's throw away from New York City’s best shopping scenes, Madison and Park Avenues.
The hotel offers guests timeless luxury and a truly welcoming atmosphere, making those who stay there feel at home every time they check in.
“We have listened to our guests and assembled a distinguished team to realise their wish for spaces to relax and socialise while maintaining the refined feel and character of our hidden gem,” said Heiko, Kuenstle, general manager at The Lowell.
Majorelle, the new restaurant at the hotel, is named after the YSL Garden in Marrakech and Chef Christian Delouvrier, who is heading up the kitchen, will be serving guests there fine French cuisine influenced by Mediterranean tastes.
Dina De Luca Chartouni, co-owner and design director, works alongside a number of staff to ensure the pedigree of the hotel lives on. “We are continually innovating our design while staying true to who we are,” stated Dina.
“The Lowell has a soul that is derived from a unique blend of elements including the timeless luxury of our rooms and suites, the talented and devoted staff and our loyal guests who choose to make The Lowell their home in New York.”
