Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris will celebrate 70 years of India’s independence with a menu featuring an authentic take on the classics served 70 years ago
Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safarishas curated a celebration of its own that pays homage to 70 years of India’s independence.
To mark the 70th anniversary of independence on 14th August 2017, Taj’s master chefs will recreate the menu from that night of celebrations in 1947, held at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. The special menu will present classics including Poulade Souffle Independence and the Vacherin de Peches Liberation.
The menu will also be available at some of Taj’s city locations: St James’ Court, A Taj Hotel, London; Taj Cape Town; The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai; Taj Palace, New Delhi; Taj Coromandel, Chennai; Taj Bengal, Kolkata to name a few.
The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai now joins an elite club of distinguished structures around the world that have secured trademark rights, such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and Sydney Opera House.
