To celebrate HRH Prince Harry and American actress, Meghan Markle’s wedding; Mr. Kahn has unveiled the Chelsea Truck Company Flying Huntsman 105 Longnose
Over the years - Kahn Group C.E.O, and design director, Afzal Kahn has designed a number of vehicles celebrating Her Majesty, The Queen’s Jubilee, 60th Coronation and HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding day.
The principal British designer believes this particular Chelsea Truck Company Flying Huntsman model is exactly the sort of vehicle that one would associate with royalty, thanks to its fashionable and iconic silhouette which pays tribute to the original Defender – ideal for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding day.
"As a proud Englishman, this is our way of wishing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle many happy years together," said Kahn.
"May I take this opportunity to congratulate the happy couple, on behalf of myself and everyone at Project Kahn and The Chelsea Truck Company.
The Land Rover Defender named the Flying Huntsman 105 Longnose has an extra 400mm of bodywork inserted into the elongated chassis, just ahead of the windscreen, hence the 105 designation, referring to the longer wheelbase.
The exterior of the vehicle is augmented with a wide arch body kit, fitted precisely to the vehicle with our customary exceptional standards of craftsmanship.
The exterior is fitted with widened front and rear wings with integrated vents and bolt apertures, alongside an X-Lander front grille, front bumper replacement with bumper lights, LED Diamond Bright headlights, Flying Huntsman spare wheel cover and a fixed panoramic glass sunroof.
A billet and leather steering wheel, Flying Huntsman time clock fascia insert, instrument binnacle in Nappa leather, custom centre console in Piano Black and cubby box in leather, rear side panels and A-pillars in leather and vented foot pedals in machined aluminium complete the interior package.
