South Africa’s leading luxury multi-brand store, Luminance, recently opened its second store at Nelson Mandela Square, in Sandton, with an official launch that took place on 26 November 2015.

The entrance area outside the store was transformed into a luxurious cocktail reception complete with a black carpet, catwalk and a live seven-piece classical orchestra. More than 200 VIP guests and media attended before taking their seats for an exclusive runway showing of Luminance’s latest addition Parisian maison Andrew GN.

The show, directed by the acclaimed Jan Malan, featured pieces from Andrew GN’s AW15 collection and included elegant silk poncho-style dresses, shifts and slips in neutral, acid and jewel tones with embroidered and beaded floral motifs. The curated collection provided guests with a taste of what they can look forward to from the brand’s SS16 range which will be available in store soon.
