The Cartier in Motion launch party took place at the Design Museum in London with guests including Kitty Spencer, George Osbourne and President and CEO of Cartier International Cyrille Vigneron
The cocktail evening for members of the press was hosted by the CEO of Cartier International.
The exhibition is an opportunity to explore and celebrate the creativity of Cartier watchmaking and design. It will be open from the 25th of May to the 28th of July 2017 at the London Design Museum.
Norman Foster, the curator of the exhibition, gives visitors an insight into changes in society at the turn of the 20th century and the impact this had on on the creation of the modern watch where amidst upheavals in art, architecture, travel and lifestyles, the traces of a new world could be glimpsed.
The 170 exhibits are mainly pieces from the Cartier Collection, including loans from the Collection of the Monaco Princely Palace Collection, the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace at Le Bourget airport and the Rockefeller Center.
Admission to the exhibition is free. For more information visit http://www.designmuseum.org/exhibitions/cartier-in-motion
