It’s already the most talked about gadget of the year and it’s barely been released. Nevertheless, it’s safe to say that despite the hype, Apple Watch - the brand’s first foray into the world of wearable tech - has delivered.
Even though several have come before it, critics agree that this is the first smartwatch effort to truly succeed. This is, in part, thanks to the device’s Digital Crown used to navigate through the interface, minimising the interaction with the smaller-than-we’re-now-used to touchscreen.
In a break from its norm, Apple has launched with 22 variants available, including the exclusive ‘Edition’ range, which boasts an 18-karat gold casings and a price tag of up to $17,000.
