Elisa Orti, a representative for Tankoa Yachts gives Elite Living Africa a tour of the new Vertige Yacht presented at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show

Francesco Paszkowsi, the designer of the yacht, Elisa explains, has brought the idea’s of Tankoa’s management team to life.

The yacht is timeless in its design, offering a lot of space for the owner and guests to walk freely around the yacht. As the yacht can accommodate 12 guests comfortably, this was a key aspect that had to be considered when designing the yacht, Elisa tells Elite Living Africa.

As the yacht owner is a wine enthusiast, in particular wines that hold the ‘Vertige’ label, this has been translated in the name of the yacht ‘Veritige’ and throughout its design Elisa explains. For example, bespoke cushions can be seen throughout the yacht, featuring the ‘Vertige’ label.

The yacht features six cabins, including an owner’s cabin and master suite, two VIP and two guest cabins on the lower deck. It also has a fully equipped gym and home cinema.

The Vertige, the second building for Tankoa Yachts presents a unique partnership between a highly skilled shipbuilder and a sales and marketing firm in daily contact with the owner, captain and consultant.

Michel Karsenti, sales Director at Tankoa Yachts, recently commented on the new project, saying, “It was a very interesting project as everyone’s intentions, from the shipyard workers to the  management to the owner, was to create the most elegant fifty metres yacht on the market. We are sure to have succeeded, “We are more than happy with the result. Creating a six cabin yacht, including two suites on the main deck, enormous open air spaces, yet keeping under 500 gross tonnes and maintaining such an elegant design has been very satisfying.”
