Thailand’s luxurious 56-roomed boutique residence, The Sarojin, has launched a brand new ‘Wake Up To Wellness’ package for 2020 bursting with activities to enrich the body and soul - from mindful meditation, detox smoothies and luxurious spa treatments to a sunrise spiritual blessing and volunteering in the local community.
From just THB 50,012 (Approx. £1,267), two people can relax and recharge with six nights in a peaceful Garden Residence, two 90-minute yoga and meditation classes each, a sunrise Spiritual Blessing of Love experience at a Thai temple, a Spa Cuisine lunch for two with detox smoothies, two 60-minute spa treatments per person, a “Sarojin Cares Day” excursion to the local community, all day a la carte breakfast each day with sparkling wine served until 6pm - ideal for snoozing the alarm clock, a private beach breakfast on one morning and private transfers to/from Phuket International Airport.
Guests can begin their wellness stay at The Sarojin with a memorable sunrise Spiritual Blessing of Love from a Thai Buddhist monk at a local temple. During the ceremony, which is held as the sun is rising in the sky, the monk gently pours holy water over the guests while chanting ancient mantras to cleanse the spirit.
Back at the resort, guests can engage their chakras and make mindfulness their mantra with two 90-minute yoga and meditation classes during their stay. Led by The Sarojin’s expert teacher, Justine Capdevielle, in either the resort’s luscious green gardens or besides the pool, guests are guided through a gentle session of stretching and toning with Vinyasa Yoga followed by restorative meditation to fully relax the body.
As part of the package, guests can also indulge in two 60-minute spa treatments each at The Sarojin’s Pathways Spa - a secluded haven surrounded by coconut groves, lush greenery and the sounds of the ocean. Guests can enjoy Thai or Aroma massage in one of the spa’s open-air treatment pavilions, followed by a special Spa Cuisine Lunch complete with detox smoothies and a menu of healthy eating options designed by The Sarojin’s Executive Chef Gogh. Having just been featured in the highly-respected MICHELIN Guide 2020*, The Sarojin is sure to impress with any dining experience.
To end their stay, guests have the option to join The Sarojin team during one of the resort’s regular volunteering excursions. The “Sarojin Cares Days”, which give back to the local community surrounding the residence, are free for guests to join but donations are welcomed to The Sarojin Community Care Fund*. A regular excursion in the initiative is to the Mangrove Forest Planting Project in Baan Nam Kem, which was set up by local fishermen following the 2004 tsunami. Here, guests can help plant new trees and restore the vital mangrove ecosystem which was damaged by the disaster – a truly rewarding way to complete a wellness retreat.
With a whole host of other complimentary activities available at the resort, including free bicycle hire to explore the local area and a stunning stretch of secluded white sand beach on its doorstep where guests can enjoy a private beach breakfast on one morning of their stay, travellers can discover why The Sarojin is the perfect place for a truly restorative Thai getaway in 2020 with the new ‘Wake Up To Wellness’ package.
