The Maserati Levante, the latest entry in the growing luxury SUV segment, was launched at the Geneva Motor Show

Named after a warm Mediterranean wind that is known for being unpredictable, the Maserati Levante has been created to combine Italian style with spirited performance.

The Italian love of fashion is present with the interior featuring premium leather and Ermenegildo Zegna silk, made in Trivero by the Zegna wool mill with a patented process. Externally, the design has been informed by the Quattroporte and Ghibli so the Levante becomes the next step in the evolution of the Maserati line-up.

The Maserati Levante comes with a choice of 275hp, 350hp or 430hp 3-litre VG engines, all with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Maserati is taking the Levante launch seriously, with the car being built in a dedicated, completely refurbished area of the Mirafiori plant in Turin.
