Supercar powerhouse, Lamborghini unveiled the open version of its Centenario Roadster at Monterey Car Week in California in occasion of the event ‘The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering’
The Centenario Roadster is limited to 20 units globally and showcases Lamborghini’s commitment to continue to develop automotive design. It features a new sleek design enhanced by clean surfaces and superb reflections, keeping lamborghini’s core design philosophy.
The car was designed to commemorate founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday and is based on a US$2 million coupe, also a limited edition of only 20 cars, which was unveiled at the Geneva auto show earlier this year.
“Lamborghini prides itself on the relentless pursuit of experimentation. We are proud to unleash Centenario’s further potential in the form of a classic roadster; the perfect harmony between innovation and timeless design,” said Stefano Domenicali, Automobili Lamborghini chief executive officer.
“Centenario Roadster embraces the cutting edge characteristics of its coupé sibling and embraces the freedom of a true open-top super sports car for a pure drive experience.”
