Orchydia Mothers Day elite living africaMother's Day is soon approaching and the Bloomsbury hotel on Great Russell Street, London is offering a floral master class at Orchidya pop up.

The Mother's Day floral master classes can be booked for the 26th March at The Bloomsbury hotel's pop-up Orchidya flower shop, where mother and child can craft their own hand-tied bouquet. The private floristry experience is available for two, lasting for one hour.

Guests will also receive two glasses of Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Champagne champagne.

The House of Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 by young newlyweds Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët who had married the previous year.

Perrier-Jouët UK Champagne Ambassador, Jonathan Simms told Elite Living Africa, "206 years later, their love story and the champagne style that they created together continues to be exquisitely produced from the same address and buildings that Pierre & Adèle established.

"A boutique House, Champagne Perrier-Jouët has picked up some famous fans over the years with some of the more well know names including Oscar Wilde who famously ordered Perrier-Jouët from his cell in Reading Jail, Princess Grace of Monaco who was a particular fan of our rosé Champagnes and Mademoiselle Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel who famously, when asked during an interview if she drank Champagne, replied with, “I drink Champagne on two occasions; when I am in love and when I am not”.

Simms continues, "Belle Epoque is the prestige cuvée from Perrier-Jouët and is one of the world’s greatest and most recognisable champagnes encased in its iconic, floral bottle. The Champagne is named after the period in which the bottle was created – La Belle Epoque (The Beautiful Era) is a vibrant period in European history from around 1880 to 1914 and the outbreak of war.

"Champagne Perrier-Jouët has for over 200 years carefully crafted exquisitely light and gentle champagnes with a real delicacy of touch;  Floral, elegant and balanced and wonderful finesse with unusually soft fruity notes to the nose and palate."

The champagne house describes Belle Epoque as "the perfect expression of the Perrier-Jouët style and reflects the exceptional quality of the house’s vineyards." As a vintage Champagne, Belle Époque is only ever created in the very best years and takes the vision of Pierre and Adèle to a sublime level; fresh and floral. Generous and supple with crisp and ripe fruit aromas captured with intense yet restrained underlying structure and harmony and a wonderfully long and complex finish.

And it's not only fine champagne that is on offer at Orchidya pop up, guests can also enjoy a selection of bites from The Bloomsbury's afternoon tea menu.
